Then today we practiced working with inactives. We listened to another senior couple pretend to be an inactive couple. They explained why they weren't still active. The husband indicated he would probably still be active if his wife were more cooperative. Because this exercise took place in our classroom, it was less formal, so I ventured a solution to the problem: "Have you ever considered divorce?" Humm.

Interesting bit of info: "Senior missionary couples are the best we have. They are ALL we have!"
President Hinckley

That *does* sound scary! Hidden webcams? Wow...
ReplyDeleteAre you putting up your daily quote about the importance of senior missionaries for my benefit? ;)
If the tracting shoe fits, wear it, and wear it out.

You're mean.
DeleteHA HA HA, you two are so funny. Flirting in the MTC, encouraging divorce...sounds like the MTC people weren't expecting the Eddingtons were they? Pretty good stuff.
ReplyDeleteBrian and I have a mission on our to do list-just as soon as we can afford to retire. Thanks for sharing your experiences. You two will be great missionaries.
ReplyDeleteLOL! I bet that really threw them. :) Sounds like you guys are having fun down there.
ReplyDeleteOh, I am so going to enjoy reading this blog. Good stuff so far. Dad, maybe you should keep control of Sister Eddington a little more. ;)
